Our History

Khumoetsile Foundation is a Boy Child and Youth Development Organization, based in Meadowlands (SOWETO). The organization was established in 2016 and registered as a Non Profit Organization in 2021.

We uplift the our community through programs such as skills development, soccer, mentoring, life skills coaching, social cohesion program targeting a Boy child, Teenagers and Youth.

The Foundation has a track record of running the above mentioned programs within the community without a proper funding and sponsorship. We have a team of dedicated volunteers who goes an extra mile in mobilizing resources from their own pockets and friends in order to support all programs, events and games that are meant to develop a boy child into a holistic and responsible adult

The foundation has also played a signifying role through partnership with Tshegofatso Pule Foundation in fighting the scourge of Gender Based Violence and femicide. We host annual soccer tournaments Against GBV and Femicide where we invite other stakeholders to engage the boys about the danger of violence and not to use violence to resolve issues.

The foundation is running a boys soccer team from Under 9, 13, 15 and 20. All the teams participate in major soccer tournaments around, Johannesburg but mostly in SOWETO and have won some of the Soccer tournament and individual players awards.
